Russ Baker’s extensive, industry-specific experience in guiding service and sales teams, as well as developing fruitful marketing strategies has been the driving force of his success. His solid background in dental supplies and equipment, in addition to his strong ability to lead, is an asset to his role as equipment and service leader at Dental Whale.
Prior to joining Dental Whale, Baker worked at Henry Schein in various leadership roles across the United States for 24 years. And for 10 years, Baker oversaw the dental and medical supplies provider’s North Carolina and South Carolina territories where he served as regional manager.
In this role, he developed and executed strategies to increase market share within the region, driving both internal and external growth, while keeping in close line with profitability goals and objectives to achieve topline results. To add to that, he was responsible for managing and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships, as well as overseeing operations and the implementation of all regional marketing programs within the extensive territory.
